Cannstatter Volksfest website!

Founded in 1818 in the wake of a crisis, the Cannstatter Volksfest continues to symbolize the solidarity, innovative strength, and inventive spirit of Baden-Württemberg. With approximately four million visitors each year, it is the second-largest folk festival in the world.

This year, it will take place from September 25 to October 11, 2026. A wide variety of top attractions and carnival rides, as well as eight festival tents, the grand historic festival parade, attractive offerings for families, the musical fireworks display, and special industry events will once again make it a highlight of the event calendar.

At the same time, from September 27 to October 4, the Agricultural Main Festival (LWH) invites visitors to the Cannstatter Wasen, where the origins of the festival live on.
